MacKenzie, Simpson and Benson elected to Board of Directors
Softball BC held on October 18th its Annual General Meeting, chaired by Lisa Parkes. The meeting highlighted growth and new initiatives undertaken in the past 12 months, including the development of a new strategic plan.
Elections were conducted for five vacant seats on the Board: three 3-year terms as part of the regular rotation and two 1-year terms left open following the resignations of Terri Boizard and Scott Wheatley. Parkes expressed gratitude to Boizard and Wheatley for their contributions over the past year, as well as to Baukje Edmarura, who had been elected to a one-year term but has decided to return to her role as Minor Coordinator for District 5.
The new Board of Directors consists of:
