Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Member Services and Communications Manager serves as the primary point of contact for our members. They oversee and manage Softball BC’s province-wide membership database and serve as the primary contact to all member associations and clubs for support and implementation of the database at the local level. The manager provides support to members and enhances the delivery of services to key stakeholders and participants through effective communication strategies. Compensation: Annual salary range is $55,000 to $65,000. Comprehensive extended health care benefits with an employer-matched RSP contribution plan.

This includes sourcing nominations, evaluating those nominations against established criteria, and recommending recipients to the Board of Directors. The Committee is also responsible for maintaining the Awards Policy for accuracy and relevance.

The Umpire Advisory Council (UAC) makes recommendations to the Board of Directors on special operating rules (edits, additions, or deletions) for minor, men's, and women's fastpitch, as well as for slo-pitch.
Members also serve as a direct line of communication between Softball BC and their respective districts. They oversee all Softball BC umpire activities in their district, including clinics, evaluations, and umpire education.
