Phil Ransome Named Softball BC’s Canada Summer Games Men’s Team’s Head Coach

Langley, BC., Tuesday, April 8, 2021 -- Softball BC is pleased to announce the appointment of Phil Ransome as the Head Coach for Team BC Men’s Team for the 2022 Canada Summer Games.

“Our selection committee was thoroughly impressed with Phil‘s level of professionalism and his coaching experience at the National Championships, BC Summer Games, and the North American Indigenous Games. We are very pleased that someone of his calibre will lead our Team BC Men’s program,” said Graeme Duncan, Chair of the Selection Committee.

When asked about his recent appointment, Phil said, “I am excited about the opportunity and want to thank Softball BC for trusting me with this responsibility. I also want to thank Doug Allin for his efforts to establish the program’s direction over the last 18 months. I look forward to continuing on the path that he has set and raising the bar for Fastball in British Columbia.”
